Here at PWP, our philosophy is very simple: smile, make pretty pictures, make happy-raving-thrilled clients, and have fun doing it.
Everything we do is a pursuit of these goals, and we strive to do it better than anyone else. Instead of a long dialogue of me telling you all the ways we are special and unique (which we are), how we can make your wedding day a better experience for you and your guests, or why you should choose my studio over every other one in Atlanta, I will simply say, "If you are serious about the photography, you owe it to yourself and your amazing wedding to give us a call to chat for a few minutes."

It all started with our first meeting at Starbucks. As we sat there, I quickly realized how comfortable I felt. I was completely relaxed and felt open to communicate my goals in choosing a wedding photographer. And let me tell you, Patrick was extremely patient. He sat there with me for almost 3hrs! All the while getting to know me, the future bride, on a personal level. This is an extremely important attribute for a wedding photographer. I could speak volumes as to your professionalism and ability to handle the chaotic activities of a wedding day. When James and I got engaged, we weren't sure where, when or how the ceremony would take place, how many people we wanted to invite, what we wanted to serve, what music would be played, what kind of dress I would wear, or where we wanted to go on our honeymoon. However, the one thing that I was certain about was "PATRICK WILLIAMS PHOTOGRAPHY." From the first moment I looked at the albums on your website, I knew that you would be able to capture our precious moments no matter where we said "I do." However, truth be told....the budget for photography was an issue in which James and I strongly disagreed. He was still in that phase of "can't we just get a friend to take some pictures?" To James (and I don't believe his view is uncommon among grooms)....a picture is a picture and there were other areas where the money could be better spent. I still remember the drive over to meet with you the first time - James is reminding me the entire way over that, "Just because we're meeting with him, doesn't mean that we are going to use him. After all...this is just a meeting to find out the facts." About 20 minutes into our "just a meeting", you excused yourself to go to the bar and my very sceptical fiance looks at me and says the sweetest words I heard him speak since the "Will You Marry Me?" came out of his mouth. He simply said..."Whatever it costs, this is the guy." From that moment forward, our experience with you, your wife Angel, and your team has been worth every single dollar. Everything from the engagement session, the super-secret wedding present to James, the wedding, the reception, and to every other above and beyond thing you've performed. You are priceless and absolutely the best investment any bride, groom, or family can make when they want to make certain that the occasion (traditional or unconventional) is not only captured, but captured creatively and masterfully. Furthermore, your work doesn't stop at just "the talented man behind the lens with a good eye." When you come out from behind that expensive camera, you are an instant friend. It is my belief that not many people are blessed to have found their calling in life, but I sincerely believe you have found what you were born to do. You are able to take a significant moment in a person's life and make it last forever, and above all...you do it with a sense of humor and a true love for your job. It shows in the way you interact with people and it shows in your final product. You're just damn good. I'm sure that if we would have chosen a different photographer, we would have gotten some great pictures. Hi - I don't post much here, but my lurking has been invaluable in this wacky strange trip known as wedding planning. I knew as soon as we were engaged that Patrick would be our photographer - he's a friend of ours and I had been blown away by his work on his website. I hesitated to write a rave on the board until I had my own experience with him, but we finally had our engagement picture session with him (after two rainouts), and I'm just so happy that I must extol his virtues. My fiance and I both are famously stiff and uncomfortable in front of the camera (I loathe having my picture taken), but the whole process was easy going and relaxed, and the pictures turned out great.
