Q: Do we travel for weddings?

A: You bet!! We are Atlanta based, but our team has captured amazing events in Hawaii, the West Indies, the Florida Keys, Washington DC, Charleston, Savannah, St Simons, and many other fantastic locations. We love to travel, and you can bet a change of scenery really excites the eye of an artist!

 

Q: Do you stay through the reception - what if we run late?

A: Unlimited coverage is our pleasure (and sometimes pain). We arrive when you ask us to and leave the reception when you do. It really is that simple.

 

Q: Do you recommend that we see each other before the wedding so we can get all of the pictures out of the way and enjoy more of our reception?

A: As much as I would love to tell you "yes", I can't. My family is down home southern folk and I was raised with an appreciation for traditional ways. Is it easier on my team to take care of the group photos before the ceremony? Yes. Will you have to take more time for photography between the ceremony and reception if you don't see each other? Yes. Did I choose to see my wife before our ceremony? No. I think both sides of the debate are completely legitimate and you should make that decision between the two of you and make the rest of us 'deal with it'! After all, it is YOUR day!

 

Q: How many weddings do you photograph?

A: Each photographer we have (me included!) will only photograph one wedding per weekend and two per month (about twenty weddings per year). It isn't just a marketing slogan; we really strive to give our clients all the attention they deserve. PWP is a boutique studio - not a volume studio. My experience has shown me the level of service we can personally offer is diminished if we try to shoot more than a couple of weddings per month.

 

Q: Do you have any vendors you recommend?

A: Of course! Atlanta is not as big as you think when it comes to vendors that have the same high standards as we do. We are a close-knit group and I am happy to recommend the vendors in this area I know will make my clients happy.

 

Q: Do engagement sessions and bridal sessions happen in the studio?

A: They can be done anywhere you want. We can schedule these sessions for the studio, a park, the place of your first date, a family home - the possibilities are endless!!

 

Q: What is a "personalized gift session"?

A: It is anything you want it to be! It is the session that a bride or groom may want in order to capture images they can give to their fiancé as a wedding gift. Themed sessions, cars, pets, artful black and white portraits - the only limit is your imagination!

 

Q: Where is your studio?

A: Our studio is located at 285 and 85 on the north side of Atlanta.
